There is probably nothing more famous about Germany than Bavarian culture and above all the largest fair in the world, the Oktoberfest in Munich. To make your stay in Germany as memorable as possible and to offer all students, foreign as well as German ones a piece of that special atmosphere, we are celebrating our own Oktoberfest in Ilmenau!
As necessery, we engaged a traditional brass band, the "Blaskapelle Oehrenstöck e.V.". Certainly we are offering every thing else one would associate with the Oktoberfest, for example a "Maß" (a 1 litre glass of beer), bratwursts, pretzels, a traditional tent and much more. After the Oktoberfest, the doors of our club are opened as usual, though.
In the morning we are even hosting an Original Bavarian Breakfast with Bavarian veal sausages and Obatzda (Bavarian cheese delicacy). We hope you will all wear traditional leather trousers and dirndls and celebrate with us!
